Oakland County Parks FREE Admission Day – All Oakland County Parks Division Parks (see list in description). Oakland County Parks and Recreation offers complimentary park entry to all guests. Addison Oaks Park/Day Use, Highland Oaks, Independence Oaks Park, Lyon Oaks Park/Day Use, Lyon Oaks Dog Park, Orion Oaks Park/Day Use, Orion Oaks Dog Park, Red Oaks Dog Park, Rose Oaks. Visitors can enjoy free daily park entry with access to natural areas, trails, dog parks and all park amenities. Wint Nature Center Early Childhood Hour Out (ECHO) – Wint Nature Center (248-625-6473)
Parents, grandparents, nannies and caregivers: Bring your little ones to Wint Nature Center for a caregiver-guided hour of activities, fun and friendship with local families on Thursdays. Participate in a caregiver-led activity provided by nature center staff. Enjoy coffee, tea and conversation with other caregivers. Strengthen community connections –conversation for adults; social interaction for babies, toddlers and young children. Optional activities may take place outside, dress for the weather. This program is free and no preregistration is necessary, although park entry fee applies for those without a vehicle permit. Caregivers must supervise children at all times. Siblings are welcome. Troy Stage Nature Center Trick or Treat Among The Trees
Troy Stage Nature Center Trick or Treat Among The Trees – A fun and friendly outdoor celebration for kids ages 3-9. Costumed kids are welcome to hike the woodland pumpkin trail with a SNC guide. Children will learn the secrets of the forest and receive treats and meet costumed characters. Dress for weather. Fee is $14.50. FREE for parents/guardians. Indian Springs Photos with Santa
Indian Springs Photos with Santa at Indian Springs Metropark – (248-625-6640, metroparks.com). Pose
alongside Santa Claus for a festive photoshoot. Metroparks staff will capture the moment. Each group will receive one polaroid photo and several digital photos emailed after the event.
