Recommended Rochester MI Trick or Treat Hours Times – The traditional Trick-or-Treat hours in Rochester are from (NEW FOR 20196p to 8p. The whistle will be blown at 6p and again 8p per City of Rochester Government Website. The old recommended hours used to be 6p-7p but was updated for 2019.

Friday, October 9, 2020 from 6p-8:30p
Rochester Halloween Events – RARA Trunk or Treat
Rochester Avon Recreation Authority – RARA (500 East 2nd Street, Rochester, MI 48307)
Decorate your vehicle for a family friendly trunk or treat at RARA, rain or shine! Pass out candy (you supply) as trick or treaters travel around. There will be prizes for best dressed vehicles in the categories Funny, Creepy (nothing too scary/creepy for small children), and Most Creative. Trunk or treating will be 7:00pm to 8:00pm. Cider and donuts will be provided towards the end for all attendees. Registration is $15 per car. A 14 Day Pre-Screen for all attending is required for this course. Please fill it out and turn it in before the program begins either on your account portal or on the day of the event. Social distancing is required at all times. Rochester Hills Halloweens Event – Stonewall Pumpkin Festival at Van Hoosen Farms
Van Hoosen Farms (1005 Van Hoosen Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48306)
Socially distanced edition of Stone Wall Pumpkin Festival. Guests are invited to carve a pumpkin and place it on the stone walls surrounding the Museum property. Return at night to see all the pumpkins lit up, along with an outdoor exhibit of scarecrows made by local organizations. Registration includes 2 pumpkins and the use of carving tools, patterns, and a private/sanitized table for up to 6 people. Additional pumpkins can be purchased while supplies last for $5/pumpkin. To maintain a safe experience for all, there will be no additional crafts or games offered this year. Masks are required at all times while on museum grounds unless seated at carving table. Evening lighting of the pumpkins runs from 7p to 9p and is Drive-thru ONLY. No admission fee for evening drive-thru. The carving portion of the event is held in 3, 2-hour sessions on Saturday and 2, 2-hour sessions on Sunday. PRE-REGISTRATION for these events is REQUIRED. Rochester Michigan Halloween Event – Mystery Dinner at Meadow Brook Hall
Meadow Brook Hall and Gardens
An engaging evening of murder, mystery and mayhem at Meadow Brook. This fun event includes a three-course meal, cocktails and a chance to solve the mystery. Guests are encouraged to come in costume. Rochester Halloween Events – Friendly Monster – Unscheduled for 2020
Tunnel of Terror at Rochester Municipal Park (400 Sixth St, Rochester, Michigan 48307)
Admission is $2 or 2 can goods. The Annual Friendly Monster Food Drive (FMFD) is a chance for the littlest kids to go through the haunted attraction in daylight with the lights on and parents are free. All the food and admission fees for that event will go directly to feeding families in the Rochester Area. The streets of Rochester will come to life with little ghouls and goblins. Children will enjoy trick-or-treating at downtown merchants. Trick or treat downtown from 3:30p-5p. Celebrate ARTober in the craft studio and paint a “sparkling” pumkin/kitty. Kids will receive their own My Painting Party Kit including all the supplies you need.  Plus, learn to paint this special piece of art during the in-store class. This class will teach the painting techniques with step-by- step instructions. At the end of the class kids will bring home their masterpiece and the 2 remaining canvases, paints and brushes to continue creating works of art at home! Ages 6+. $30. The Village will host a FREE, safe social distancing event on Saturday, October 24, 2020 from 10a-4p. Kids are invited to dress up in their costumes, enjoy a FREE cider mill donut, and then stop by the City Light Church Tent to receive a scavenger hunt clues sheet (while supplies last). Kids that finish the hunt will receive a FREE Halloween Goody Bag. Admission to the event is FREE. Costumes are not mandatory for the event but recommended.
