Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program – Red Oaks Nature Center (248-585-0100). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy
nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. Meadow Brook Hall Twilight Tours at Meadow Brook Hall and Gardens (248-364-6200,
meadowbrookhall.org). Enjoy stationed touring and light refreshments and a cash bar in a spectacular setting. Bring a date or friends to sip a cocktail while the sun sets over the Great Estate in this beautiful evening experience. second Saturday in May is National Miniature Golf Day, and this year it falls on the same weekend as Mother’s Day. In honor of both holidays, Cranbrook is offering free admission to one special adult in your life on Saturday, May 11 and on Sunday May 12. To receive the complimentary ticket, please purchase all tickets for your group on-site. The last tickets will be sold 45 minutes before closing. Yoga in the Rock Garden – (5:40p registration) Experience a beautiful practice with Yoga in the Rock Garden at Meadow Brook. All levels are welcome to join these sessions, which will focus on stretching and strengthening the body to release stress and rejuvenate. The goal of yoga is simple: breathe and enjoy the moment, then the rest will follow. In cases of inclement weather, participants will be notified of any cancellations by 4p on event date.
