Blake’s Lyon Township Fall Kick-off Celebration – Free Funland admission from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (jumping pillows, John Deere Speedway, Amish play structures, Mr. Bones Outhouse, Hillbilly Wagon, and animal petting farm. Live music, food trucks, cider garden. $1 from every dozen donuts and u-pick apple bags will be donated to South Lyon based charity Active Faith
Tollgate Farm Pumpkinfest at MSU Tollgate Farm. Take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to pick your perfect pumpkin. Many events FREE, some with small fees. Food, music, farm animals, educational exhibits, and children’s activities all make for a fun fall outing for all ages. $5 per person, 3 and under FREE. Walled Lake Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony features the Holiday Tree Lighting and a visit from Santa Claus. Festivities may start at the Walled Lake City Library (1499 E West Maple Road, Walled Lake, Michigan 48390) earlier with a craft & fun. Hosted by the City of Walled Lake.

Grab your family and friends and head downtown to join in for the 19th annual March on Main Street in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Lineup begins at 12:30 p.m. in the Prospect Hill Shopping Center parking lot. The march begins at 1p and will conclude at the SHAC / River’s Edge Market. Hosted by Huron Valley MLK Day.

Auburn Hills MLK Day Event – Community-wide celebration in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. a community-wide celebration in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Operation Cover Me for Grace Centers of Hope. Theme for 2024 is “Be Love – Our Goal, Our Community”. Community Challenge: challenge the citizens of Auburn Hills to commit to taking steps that promote beauty, love, and justice in the community and beyond. Auburn Hills is in need of 1.5-yard sections of fleece to make tie fleece blankets to donate to Grace Centers of Hope. Also, will accept blankets already made.
