Detroit Christmas Events 2019 – From the Thanksgiving parade to holiday carriage rides, to ice skating at Campus Martius Park. Downtown Detroit has no shortage of holiday events and family fun. Santa will also be making several visits to Detroit this holiday season!

Detroit Santa Claus Visits – Skate with Santa at Campus Martius
Campus Martius Park (800 Woodward Ave, Detroit, Michigan)
Spend the afternoon ice skating with Santa (and bring your camera). Standard admission to the Campus Martius Park Ice Skating Rink apply – $10 adults, $8 children under 12. Skate rental is $5. Hosted by Downtown Detroit ParksCAMPUS MARTIUS PARK RINK INFO

Campus Martius Park (800 Woodward Ave, Detroit, Michigan)
See Downtown Detroit like you never have before – from inside an enchanted horse drawn carriage. Carriage rides take off from the Woodward Esplanade, directly south of Campus Martius Park. Rides are $10 per person and last about 15 to 20 minutes. On site only. No advanced reservations are accepted. For more info, downtowndetroitparks.com

Christmas Events – Noel Night 2019
Midtown Detroit’s Cultural Center Area (between Cass and John R and Kirby and Willis)
Over 60 participating venues will open their doors to the public free of charge during this Cultural Center-wide holiday open house. Activities include horse-drawn carriage rides, holiday shopping, family craft activities and performances by over 100 area music, theatre, and dance groups, and other special performances.
