Farmington Hills Homeschool Nature Center Programs at Heritage Park – Farmington Hills Department of Special Services will host Homeschool Nature Programs every Thursday at the Heritage Park Nature Center beginning September 14, 2023. The FALL dates take place every Thursday from September 14 through October 19 & then again from November 2 through December 14 (No Class on Thanksgiving) from 1:30p-3p. Students may be split into 2 different age groups depending on the number of participants. The recommended age for these classes is 6-12. Attendees will be asked to register for 1 day per week.
OAKLAND COUNTY MOMS EDUCATION ARTICLES & RESOURCES
Enrich your child’s knowledge and connection with the nature world. A naturalist will lead hands-on, memorable experiences outdoors, and STEM activities while exploring a different nature theme each week. The Homeschool Nature Program at Heritage Park is a great way to get outside, meet other homeschool families and supplement your at-home lessons!
FARMINGTON HILLS RECREATION EVENTS CALENDAR
The Farmington Hills Homeschool Nature Program at Heritage Park is designed as a drop-off class. Students will be split into two age groups depending on the number of participants. Please dress for the weather and exploring outdoors. These homeschool programs are designed for children ages 6-12. There is a separate program for teens ages 12-15 for the same time.
The cost is $70 per resident & $80 per non-resident for the FALL sessions. Advanced registration is encouraged to guarantee your spot. Register online at https://recreg.fhgov.com/wbwsc/webtrac.wsc/SPLASH.html or at the Costick Center.
