Fun Summer Recipes for Kids Disclaimer – the videos (and my descriptions) of the recipes are a little lacking in the exact measurements department so when I was making these… I was just winging it – and some are so easy you can’t possibly fail. Most of it you can pick-up by following my instructions with the ones in the videos.

Fun Summer Recipes for Kids

Cotton Candy Ice Cream Burrito Recipe – Simply place pink and blue cotton candy onto a piece of parchment paper and press down to flatten. Next, add three scoops of vanilla ice cream on top of the flattened cotton candy. Picking up the parchment paper, roll the cotton candy over the ice cream, creating a “burrito” effect. Once covered, cut the cotton candy and ice cream in half and enjoy! WATCH IT BEING MADE HERE.

Fun Summer Recipes for Kids #2 – Avocado Ice Cream Recipe – This one’s a little difficult because of the video not listing EXACT measurements but mine came out ok. Add 3 avocados into a blender. Add in whipping cream, lemon juice, honey, and blend! Once everything is mixed evenly, place the mixture into the freezer to let it set. Once it’s frozen, scoop it out and top with chocolate shavings and you’re all set. WATCH IT BEING MADE HERE.

Fun Summer Recipes for Kids # – Waffle Ice Cream Cake Recipe – To make it, make 4 homemade waffles (either chocolate or plain) and allow them to cool. Once they have cooled down, spread a layer of softened ice cream on top of the waffle and place the next waffle on top of that. Repeat with multiple ice cream flavors creating a cake shape. Once complete, add the final waffle on top and add on any toppings you like. Cut it up to serve and enjoy. If you want to simplify the heck out of this recipe, use EGGO Waffles to substitute the waffle-making process. WATCH IT BEING MADE HERE.

Fun Summer Recipes for Kids #4 – Gummi Bear Popsicles – This one’s my favorite – Simply toss some gummi bears into a plastic popsicle mold (about 3/4 full). Then add 7-up to the brim of the plastic container. Insert the sticks, then freeze. Voila! – a 7-Up popsicle with gummi bears in it! WATCH IT BEING MADE HERE.
