Family Swim / Open Swim at Goldfish is low-cost and you don’t even have to be a member to enjoy them. They’re also a great way to check out the Goldfish Swim School facilities throughout Metro Detroit before you commit to swim lessons.

OPEN SWIM PROGRAMS IN OAKLAND COUNTY

Open Swims are a great Cabin Fever Cure for boredom in the winter months. But, unlike other open swims, Goldfish has their pools set to 90 degrees. If you’ve ever been to a local Open Swim at an area high school, the water feels like barely 70 degrees in February. Also, at Goldfish… you get to use their great lockerroom facilities and all of their fun pool toys.

A lot of Goldfish members use Family Swim to meet their friends from swim class in a more fun, social environment and because they enjoy their swim lessons so much. A lot of non-members use Family Swim to “kick the tires” on possibly taking lessons at Goldfish. Some just go because there’s nothing better than swimming in a 90 degree pool in January – it’s the ultimate cabin fever cure.
