Great Farmington Hills Campout Heritage Park 2019 – Enjoy the great outdoors with your family at the annual Campout in Heritage Park on Saturday, June 1 through Sunday, June 2, 2019.

At this event, families can enjoy Nature Center tours, trail hikes, and free time with the family from 4p-8p on Saturday. Participants can then choose to either camp out afterwards in their own backyards or stay in a pre-reserved campsite for an overnight adventure in Heritage Park. The deadline for reservations is May 28. The $25 fee includes the campsite, dinner, and pancake breakfast.
Campout fun is available to all participants, including both those who have booked a campsite and those who choose to head home for the night. Activities will include an outdoor expo, nature hikes, campfire songs and stories, and activities at the Nature Center from 4p-9p.
Dinner is included only for families with a registered campsite, but concession items will be available for purchase at the Camp Store. The campout will end on Sunday with a pancake breakfast which is available free to both Heritage Park campers and returning backyard campers.
The Great Farmington Hills Campout is part of the “No Child Left Inside” initiative, which promotes opportunities for children and families to enjoy the outdoors. Registration for the Great Farmington Hills Campout runs through May 28, 2019.
