On weekends, the focus shifts to the cider mill PLUS Fall family with an outdoor barnyard playland that seems to get bigger and better every year we visit.
Long Family Orchard Cider Mill offers big-time cider mill amenities like ample parking, well-manicured grounds, affordable cider mill favorites, and more! Long Cider Mill is more than cider and donuts, they offer entertainment for kids (on weekends) with their Long Family Fun Farm / Fall Time Fun Area playplace, hayrides to the pumpkin patch and 5-acre corn maze.
On weekends in the Fall at Long Family Orchard Cider Mill kids can play in the Ball Zone, Straw Maze, Giant Tunnel Tube Hill Slide, and numerous play structures. They can also race on the Pedal Kart Track, bounce on the fall-themed jumping pillows, climb the Sand hill, visit the farm animals, and wander around the Straw Maze.
Try to make time to take a hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin to take home. If you don’t have time, they sell PLENTY of them out in front of the cider mill.
The star attraction of the weekend family fun at Long Family Orchard Cider Mill is the annual 5-acre FALL Corn Maze.
Time and weather permitting, the Long Family Orchard Cider Mill hosts Moonlight Corn Maze events on weekends in late October.
There are a lot of Fall Cider Mill playlands for kids across Metro Detroit. We enjoy the Long Family Orchard Cider Mill because it’s not as “touristy” as some of the others. Even though the Fall Family Fun Zone is only open on weekends, you’ll never feel “crowded out” (like some of the other larger cider mills in Oakland County) at Long’s thanks to the expansive grounds and laid back atmosphere of the cider mill.
