Summer is a beautiful time to get your family or group together to visit the Farm Center and enjoy a horse-drawn hayride. Take a ride along wooded trails with views of the Huron River. After your ride, visit the animals and Living History Village. Wheelchair lift available with advanced notice. All ages event. $50 per half hour ride. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 810-227-8910. A Metroparks vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Annual vehicle permits are on sale NOW. Northville Hayrides – Barn Yard Play Land
Three Cedars Farm and Cider Mill (7897 Six Mile Road, Northville, MI 48167, 248-437-8200)
$5 per person / $10 per family Hayrides take you around the property back to Corn maze and the U-Pick pumpkin patch. You can also reserve evening hayrides to a bonfire. Don’t forget there is also Fall fun for the younger ones. Barn Yard Play Land had modern playground equipment in a fun kids barn, a John Deere trike track, Peter Rabbit bunny village, lots of farm animals, and educational tutorials. Review – Pics.

Northville Hayrides – Maybury Farm Corn Maze & Hayrides

Hayride & 1 acre corn maze scavenger hunt. Cider, donuts, and snacks available after. Hours – Friday – 5p-9p, Saturday –10a-9p, and Sunday – 10a-7p. Cost is $13. These are rain or shine events. Enjoy a colorful fall hayride to and from our huge pumpkin patch to select your perfect pumpkin. Pumpkins and gourds are priced according to size. All weekday hayrides are tractor-drawn, and weekend hayrides are horse-drawn (weather permitting). Wheelchair lift available with advanced notice. Tickets for hayrides are sold at the Farm Center Office. $3 per child (3-12), $5 per adult (13-61), $3 per senior (62+), Children under two are FREE! West Bloomfield Hayrides – Marshbank Park Hayrides

Experience the changing seasons at Marshbank Park while enjoying a 20 minute tractor-drawn hayride. You’ll encounter a few nature knowledge stops along your route for an added adventure. Take your picnic blanket and find a cozy spot to enjoy cider and a seasonal treat. The registration fee is for one timeslot and includes a private hayride for your group of 30 maximum people, cider and treat and 4 roll up picnic blankets.. Pre-register here

Oxford Hayrides – Harvest Moon Hayrides

Enjoy visiting the animals, magic show, farm demos, hayrides through the woods, storybook trail, pumpkin picking, pony rides, and cider & donuts during Harvest Festival weekends. Rochester Hills Hayrides – Hoot N’ Howl Hayride
Bloomer Park (375 John R Road, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48309)
Join park staff at Bloomer Park for a hayride to search for nocturnal animal activity. Enjoy a campfire, cider and donuts following the hayride. $7 per person. Purchase tickets HERE.

South Lyon Hayrides – Agri-trainment – Fall Family Fun at Erwin Orchards
Erwin Orchards Cider Mill (61475 Silver Lake Road, South Lyon, MI, 248-437-0150)
Erwin Orchards offers wagon rides as part of their daily “Agri-trainment”. Enjoy wagon rides, the corn maze, Mr Bee’s Big 3D Adventure Barn (Saturdays & Sundays), straw bale maze, sunflower garden, and more. There is even more family fun available on the weekends. Review – Pics.

Kids can enjoy hayrides, trike track, straw mountain, corn mazes, Bunnyville farm, a petting farm, and many Halloween attractions every day in September and October. Must purchase a day pass to the event to receive the hayrides, they don’t sell hayride pass tickets ala carte. A tractor drawn wagon ride and watch the Harvest Moon rise as you ride along a nature trail. Search for the man in the moon, bring your binoculars to view the moon and discover features to look for. On your ride, park staff will share park history and interesting tidbits about natural features in the park. After your tour enjoy a warm campfire and stories of the fall season.
