Marshbank Park Sledding Hill West Bloomfield

Marshbank Park sledding hill pics, review, and GoPro sled video – Marshbank Park sled hill in West Bloomfield MI is a fun and convenient for school’s out snow day fun!

The sledding hill at Marshbank Park is located right at the park’s entrance and VERY close the parking lot making extremely convenient and accessible even to the smallest sledders. The park’s main building serves as warming shelter and has modern restroom facilities – huge bonus! Just beyond the main building/warming shelter (pictured) is the sled hill. The sledding hill is clearly defined with signs and blue snow fences. The snow fences even outline a safe walking pathway to ascend the hill for another run.

The sled hill itself is relatively small, yet steep enough for some quick runs. There’s enough speed on the hill for older riders to get a thrill but not too fast for the younger riders. I’d classify the hill as intermediate – about the same level as the sled hill at Waterford Oaks County Park.

Marshbank features sports fields, paved walking paths, 2 playgrounds, a sledding hill, a fishing pier, and more. The sledding hill hosts outdoor summer concerts. Marshbank Park is home to many seasonal events held by our friends at West Bloomfield Parks. Marshbank Park Sledding Hill is the feature attraction to West Bloomfield Parks and Rec’s annual Winter Festival held every January.
