Metro Detroit Special Needs Sports Leagues – Adaptive needs sports leagues and recreation for adults and children with disabilities in Oakland County and Metro Detroit.There are several options for sports and recreational leagues for special needs children, teens and adults in Oakland County, Michigan. Sports leagues for special needs adults and kids provide non-competitive, recreational options to stimulate exercise and social interaction.

OUCARES hosts a bowling league for individuals ages 16-plus on the autism spectrum at Classic Lanes in Rochester Hills. In addition, OUCARES provides academic, athletic and social programs to improve the quality of life of individuals impacted by autism spectrum disorders / ASD.  More info...

Troy Adaptive Needs Sports and Recreation

Troy Recreation Adaptive Sports Leagues – Troy
Fall & Winter 10 Week Leagues at the Troy Community Center for persons with developmental disabilities. Minimum age to participate is 16 years old. Drop-in (non league) Bowling for persons with developmental disabilities ages 10+ take place Saturdays in September through Mid May. Softball Leagues take place for teens and adults ages 16+ from May through August. Troy team plays against other adaptive rec teams in Oakland County. More info...
