Special Needs Events – RARA Bowling League

For persons of all ages with special needs. Includes 2 games and shoe rental per week. Pizza banquet will be held at the end of the season. To register, visit www.rararecreation.org.

Youth Abilities Saturday Sports Special for Children with Disabilities
Boys and Girls Club of Royal Oak (1545 E Lincoln Ave, Royal Oak, MI)
Boys & Girls Clubs of South Oakland County For children with disabilities ages 6–18. In order to schedule adequate volunteers, individuals must pre-register for the week they plan to attend. Program is limited to the first 20 participants. There are no program or activity fees. Activities include parachute games, floor hockey, kickball, scooters, basketball and more. Special Needs Events – OUCARES Autism Spectrum Bowling League – Oakland County
Classic Lanes (2145 Avon Industrial Dr, Rochester Hills, MI 48309)
Our friends at Classic Lanes in Rochester Hills have teamed up with OUCARES (Oakland University Center for Autism Research, Education and Support) to form a bowling league for individuals ages 16-plus on the autism spectrum. This opportunity will allow ASD students (over 16) and adults to enhance physical activity in a social, community setting. No bowling experience is necessary to participate. The cost of the bowling league is $60. The parent/caregiver will need to remain with the bowler if one on one assistance is required. Click here for registration info.

Special Needs Events – OUCARES Autism Spectrum Bowling League – Macomb County
5-Star Lanes (2666 Metro Pkwy, Sterling Heights, MI)
OUCARES (Oakland University Center for Autism Research, Education and Support) bowling league for individuals ages 15-plus on the autism spectrum. The park is transformed into a calmer atmosphere for those with special needs and sensory processing difficulty, their siblings and caregivers.
