The Euro-Peds Foundation was established in 2013 to raise and administer funds for children who have special needs and their families. The foundation primarily awards treatment and travel grants to help cover the cost of specialized intensive physical therapy at Euro-Peds, a nationally-recognized center for children and young adults who have cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, genetic syndromes, spina bifida and other gross motor disorders. Special Needs Events – OUCARES Autism Spectrum Bowling League – Oakland County
Classic Lanes (2145 Avon Industrial Dr, Rochester Hills, MI 48309)
Our friends at Classic Lanes in Rochester Hills have teamed up with OUCARES (Oakland University Center for Autism Research, Education and Support) to form a bowling league for individuals ages 16-plus on the autism spectrum. This opportunity will allow ASD students (over 16) and adults to enhance physical activity in a social, community setting. No bowling experience is necessary to participate. The cost of the bowling league is $60. The parent/caregiver will need to remain with the bowler if one on one assistance is required. Click here for registration info.

“After Hours,” offered through OUCARES and funded by ASA/OCC, is a support group for those 18 years and over with Asperger’s, HFA or PDD/NOS. Come join us for pizza, conversation, cards, billiards, and fun! There is no cost to attend this program, however donations are welcome and appreciated. There is a donation box at the event.
