Royal Oak Halloween Events – Zoo Boo
The Detroit Zoo (8450 W 10 Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067)
The Detroit Zoo’s annual “merry-not-scary” Zoo Boo. Live entertainment awaits your costume-clad little ones, including dazzling and daring acrobatics, magic acts, jugglers, story tellers, live music and extreme pumpkin carving demonstrations. Be sure to stop by the Haunted Reptile House and visit the ghosts and goblins that have made the Holden Reptile Conservation Center their home for the season. Make friends with other haunted creatures and enjoy the fabulous Halloween displays along the “unlucky” 13-station trick-or-treat trail. 5p-8p on Fridays & Saturdays and 3p-7p on Sundays. A merry, not scary, time of Halloween games, crafts, parades, dancing, stories, and trick-or-treating around the library. Wear your Halloween costume (or come as you are). There are two floors of fun, so drop in any time, but make sure to allow enough time to circulate to all of the activities. Call the youth reference desk at 248-246-3725 for more information.
