The annual gingerbread creation has grown from a gingerbread house, to a gingerbread lighthouse, to a gingerbread train, and now as a gingerbread forest! The new forest features gingerbread trees, gingerbread houses, gingerbread children, a gingerbread-inspired train, and more!

Since 2009, the Royal Park Hotel has partnered with The Salvation Army which accepts donations for those in need. The Salvation Army will have the Red Kettle ready for donations. Additionally, Park 600 (The Royal Park Hotel’s restaurant) will donate $1 from every dessert sold will support The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit’s 2019 Red Kettle Campaign. There will also be an online auction of a watercolor painting of The Royal Park Express held online to benefit the Salvation Army’s effort this holiday season. You can learn more at salmich.org.
