A Sensory Friendly Santa for Special Needs Children has been arranged for Laurel Park Place Shopping Center in Livonia. These special visits will be for children with autism or other special needs. This year’s Sensory Friendly Santa is scheduled for Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 8a-10:30a.
Sensory Friendly Santa for Special Needs Children
These Santa visits are FREE unless you choose on-site professional photographer option. Santa has set aside this special time to meet children with Autism and other Special Needs (and their brothers and sisters). This visit was specially arranged to take place early in the day before the mall is busy, to make it easier for children who need a little more time, a less noisy environment or who have a hard time standing in line with all of the loud noise, hustle and bustle of the mall. A professional photographer will be on hand to take pictures but you are not required to purchase any pictures to attend. This is a FREE event. Please reserve a slot using this link and prepare to arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment. For more info, call 734-252-9101 or visit www.facebook.com/MyGreatKid/
New for 2017… This event used to be designed as first-come, first-served but is taking a new look for 2017. The popularity of the event has caused some lines which defeated the purpose of the low-stress, sensory friendly event. Event hosts asks that you only reserve a slot if you’re SURE you’re going to be able to attend and please only reserve one time slot per family. Again, please use the link above (in bold) to book your time.
