Shepherd Park Sledding Hill – Oak Park Community Center Sled Hill- Shepherd Park Sledding Hill AKA Hamilton Hill is located at Shepherd Park in Oak Park MI. Review, pics, and video of the sledding hill at Shepherd Park. Though technically inside Shepherd Park, easier access to the sled hill can be found by parking at the Oak Park Community Center. From there, the sledding hill is just a short walk from the parking near the many baseball fields.

Hamilton Hill at Shepherd Park isn’t very long but the sledding hill is fairly steep allowing for some fast runs. Shepherd Park sledding hill is clearly marked with handrails. It’s a nice neighborhood sled hill for locals but probably not worth the drive. Parking is relatively convenient but there are no restrooms in sight.

Hamilton Hill at Shepherd Park is maintained by The City of Oak Park Parks and Recreation. There are no set sled hill hours and sledding is “at your own risk”
