Royal Oak Weekend Events – Great Marshmallow Drop 2019

15,000 marshmallows will be dropped from a helicopter. Kids pick up marshmallows and return them for a free gift from Oakland County Parks. Kids will be split into 3 different age groups for 3 drops. This is not a competition. Marshmallow Drop will be at Worden Park for 2019 only due to park improvements at Catalpa Oaks County Park. The event will return to Catalpa Oaks in 2020. Sloan Museum’s new 10,000 square-foot exhibition space inside Courtland Center Mall is the home for their NEW exhibit – Rainforest Adventure Maze. Sloan’s Rainforest Adventure Maze exhibit is an exhibit with immersive displays and hands-on activities. Visitors can explore the Rainforest Adventure in two interactive mazes, Rainforest Adventure and Tropical Odyssey. Both mazes are full of the sights and sounds of a tropical rainforest, with puzzles and physical challenges that are great for ages 4 to adult.
