Zoo Boo Detroit Zoo 2025 Preview – review, pics, dates, hours, schedule and features for the annual Halloween trick or treating event at the Detroit Zoo. Zoo Boo has grown in popularity since its inception and is updated this year’s event to include new features, expanded hours, and more.

The annual “merry-not-scary” event returns for 20245with expanded hours and expanded reach. The Detroit Zoo is adding fun weekly themes to the event. Attendees are still welcome to where whatever costume they like, but the special themes give opportunities to dress up in different costumes depending on the them.

NEW for Zoo Boo Detroit Zoo 2025 – Add-on dinner buffet option and add-on cider & donut option. You can expand the fun for an extra fee. The Detroit Zoo is offering 4-D Theatre pass for a 15-minute thrilling movie. You can even purchase an add-on carousel experience. There is also an opportunity to purchase Detroit Zoo Wild Lights / Christmas Lights Experience EARLY to save money. Prices for the add-on and admission tickets for Detroit Zoo Zoo Boo 2025 are available on their website.

Zoo Boo costs $21-$25 ONLINE – depending on the date & time slot. Gate price is $27. Children younger than 2 are admitted FREE. Tickets can be purchased in advance online. Parking is $8 per car for all Zoo Members and guests. Zoo Boo is a rain-or-shine event; no refunds or exchanges.
