Buddy Basketball is a basketball league for Oakland County and Metro Detroit, Michigan special needs children ages 7-14 hosted by Independence Township Parks and Recreation. This league is for both male and female players.

Buddy Basketball League Oakland County 2025
Buddy Basketball is a non-competitive, recreational league for boys and girls with physical and/or cognitive disabilities. Each player is paired with a “buddy” to assist them on the court.
Buddy Basketball league is 6 weeks long and held on Mondays at Everest Academy Gym in Clarkston, Michigan. League Play is in January 21 through February 25 of 2025. Games are played on Monday nights beginning January 21, 2024
The fee for the league is $40 for residents, $50 for non-residents and $10 for buddies (kids ages 10-17 who want to help).
Registration for Buddy Basketball 2025 season begins Late August of 2024 and ends December 8, 2024. After December 30, 2024, there will be a $10 late fee assessed pending availability.

7 week (6 games) basketball league for boys and girls ages 7-13 with cognitive disabilities with or without physical impairments. Each player will be paired with a buddy, ages 10-17, to assist as needed. Minimum of 10 players/buddies. Hosted by Independence Twp Parks & Recreation.
