Buddy Basketball is a basketball league for Oakland County and Metro Detroit, Michigan special needs children ages 7-14 hosted by Independence Township Parks and Recreation.
2 Sessions for players. Kids ages 7-10 OR kids ages 11-14.
Buddy Basketball is a non-competitive, recreational league for boys and girls with physical and/or cognitive disabilities. Each player is paired with a “buddy” to assist them on the court.
Buddy Basketball league is 6 weeks long and held on Mondays at Everest Academy Gym in Clarkston, Michigan. League Play is in February and March of 2020. Games are played on Monday nights beginning February 4, 2019
The fee for the league is $40 for residents, $50 for non-residents and $10 for buddies (kids ages 10-17 who want to help).
Registration for Buddy Basketball 2019 season begins Mid November 2019 and ends December 27, 2019. After December 30, 2019, there will be a $10 late fee assessed pending availability.
