The Big Reveal Milford Christmas Event – Stores on Main Street in Downtown Milford reveal festive holiday Christmas and holiday window displays to their stores. Come downtown and watch the kids “unwrap” the storefronts. Local merchants will wrap their storefronts on Tuesday, get busy, and reveal their holiday best on Thursday night. Heritage Park Sweetheart Stroll – Celebrate Valentines Day with a candle-lit hike through the trails of Heritage Park. Share your love of nature as you discover the courtship and mating behaviors of native animals. Complete the evening with a warm drink and sweet treats at the Nature Center. Ages 18+. RARA Easter Egg Hunt
RARA Easter Egg Hunt – 9:30a & 11a (kids ages 1-4), 10a & 11:30a (kids ages 5-8) and 10:30a & Noon (kids ages 9-11) at RARA Fieldhouse. The Easter Bunny will be joining RARA for the family gathering and your child can have their picture taken with him. Bring your camera. Parents, grandparents and infants under 12 months are free. Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade
Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade – 11a (lineup) / Parade at 11:30a at Sylvan Lake City Hall and Memorial Park.
The Parade will begin at 11:30a at City Hall and end at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony. Kids are welcome to decorate their bikes and participate in the parade. Veterans that wish to participate are asked to contact Jim Smith at 248-904-9085 to be recognized at Memorial Park ceremony. Kids can begin decorating their bikes for the bike parade (with supplies provided) at City Hall at 10:30a. If you would like to volunteer at the parade / ceremony please contact sylvanlakeparade@gmail.com.
