Detroit Zoo GreenFest – The Zoo-wide experience includes demonstrations by the Detroit Zoological Society’s Green Team, conservation education, citizen science projects and exhibits by local conservation groups. VoRH Car Seat Safety Check-up – Fire Department technicians will inspect your child seats, provide installation tips, and ensure your children are in the right seat for their size and age. Together at the Village for “Music and Me~On Tuesdays Too!”. Each Tuesday, starting at 10a, enjoy a 45-minute musical activity with your child. There will be singing, dancing, and shaking rhythmic instruments together. This is a FREE event, so bring a blanket and get ready to shake, rattle and roll with your child. Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program

Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program – Red Oaks Nature Center  (248-585-0100). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy

nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home.
