Riley Park Harry Potter & the Holiday Skate
Ring in New Year’s Eve at Riley Park Ice Rink. Harry Potter and the Holiday Skate, 8p costume contest, 9p ball drop for kids. At midnight, adults can celebrate with a second ball drop over the rink. Tickets are $10. The rink does not have rental skates, but there are of skates available for skaters to borrow. Hosted by the City of Farmington.

Motor City New Year’s Eve Drop- FREE New Year’s Eve party in Downtown Detroit. Fun for adults on NYE in Downtown Detroit. Drinks and food available for purchase around the site. Ferndale Daddy Daughter Dance – The dance serves as an opportunity for fathers, uncles and other paternal (and maternal) figures to show the little princesses in their lives how special they are. Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza
Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza – Each hunt is FREE and will feature three parks, with areas for younger children. The schedule is as follows – 1p – Wilson Park (For Ages 1-4 Only); 1:30p – Geary Park; 2p – Martin Road Park.
At each site, children will have the opportunity to gather as many prize-filled eggs as they can. One egg in each section contains a special golden ticket that will grant its finder with a special Easter basket. Geary Park and Martin Road Park will each have an area dedicated to younger children (ages 1-4) and older children (ages 5-11). At Martin Road Park, children and parents will have the opportunity to meet and take pictures with the Easter Bunny. This is a FREE event, no pre-registration is required, but please consider donating to support Ferndale P&R programming. Hosted by Ferndale Parks & Recreation.
