OUR Town Art Show & Sale

OUR Town Art Show & Sale is on Friday & Saturday at The Community House. Exhibit for

diverse creations – from paintings and sculptures to photography and glasswork. The exhibit embraces both in-person and online experiences for art enthusiasts. This is a FREE event to attend hosted by the Birmingham Community House.

SK8 JAMZ at Suburban Ice

SK8 JAMZ at Suburban Ice – at Suburban Ice Macomb  (586-992-8600, suburbanicemacomb.com). Cosmic

public ice skating under the black lights at Suburban Ice with awesome dance music, a fun event for teens and pre-teens. Skate rental is available. Hosted by Suburban Ice Macomb.

Red Oaks Nature Center Homeschool Series

Red Oaks Nature Center Homeschool Series (248-585-0100) A new homeschool theme each month.

Homeschool sessions are adapted for two age groups: Ages 6-9 and ages 10-13. Cost is $10/child/session. Preregistration with payment is required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or register online. No on-site registration will be available. Sessions are designed as a drop-off program for youth. All students are welcome. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.

Following the moon cycle connects us with nature in a meaningful way. Enjoy a mini hike, cozy fire and calming meditation during the full moon. No meditation experience necessary. Dress for the weather. The program is suitable for ages 7 and older. Cost is $5/person. Waterford Festival of the Arts

Waterford Festival of the Arts – Craft and vendor fair at the Waterford Recreation Center. Over

50 vendors, artisans, and concessions. Admission is $1. Cash only. Small bills preferred.

nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home.
