Stony Creek Fall Wagon Tours – at Stony Creek Metropark – 90 minute wagon tours. Book either a 10a or 1p ride. Hop on the tractor-drawn wagon and enjoy the beauty of fall along a Nature Trail. Along the way, staff will share stories about Stony Creek’s history and various natural features. After your tour, enjoy a roaring campfire to celebrate the season. Program is weather dependent. Ages 3+. $5 per person. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 586-781-9113. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Westland MLK Celebration and Remembrance Walk

Westland MLK Celebration and Remembrance Walk – The City will start with a remembrance walk to commemorate his life and legacy followed by our annual ceremony to express how Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. had inspired us, what his message means to us, and to help inspire people to continue with his message and help make the world a more inclusive and righteous place for us and our children to live in. Commerce Twp Preschool Open House

Commerce Twp Preschool Open House at Commerce Twp Community Library . Meet with preschools from Commerce, Walled Lake, Milford, and White Lake to help find the school best fit for your child. Representatives will be there to answer any questions you have about the process. This program is hosted in partnership with the Commerce Township Community, Walled Lake City, and Wixom Public Libraries. Children welcome. Light refreshments provided.
