Troy Historic Village Victorian Christmas
Troy Historic Village Victorian Christmas – Experience Christmas during the 1850s-60s. Costumed reenactors will perform activities of the season like playing games, decorating, exchanging gifts, and calling on friends. Also enjoy music, kids’ crafts, Christmas traditions mini-exhibit, and hot cider and cocoa. Hours are Friday 6p-8p, Saturday 10a–1p & 5p-8p, Sunday 12p–3p. Fun for all ages. $12. Per Oakland Twp Parks and Rec: Oakland Township’s Winter Carnival on January 27 has been cancelled due to poor field conditions. The Bear Creek Nature Park field is currently waterlogged and slushy as a result of the warming weather, snow melt, and rain.
Heritage Park Sweetheart Stroll
Heritage Park Sweetheart Stroll – Celebrate Valentines Day with a candle-lit hike through the trails of Heritage Park. Share your love of nature as you discover the courtship and mating behaviors of native animals. Complete the evening with a warm drink and sweet treats at the Nature Center. Ages 18+.
