Oakland County Moms Calendar of Metro Detroit Spring Events
Oakland County Parks will mark the Juneteenth holiday by waiving vehicle entry fees on Monday, June 19. Oakland County Parks’ Mobile Recreation Unit will also be participating in local celebration and commemoration events honoring Juneteenth throughout Oakland County with fun, free activities such as inflatables, games, climbing towers and more.
Visitors can enjoy access to general park activities, including trails, dog parks, playgrounds, picnic areas, beaches and fishing spots from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset (unless otherwise posted).
Spencer Park Bass Tournament – The Park Bass Tournament is open to ALL AGES and SKILL LEVELS. All fishing is done from shore and there will be prizes for the most bass caught and also for the largest bass. Tournament participation is $5. Participants receive free park vehicle entry. Ladies Night Out Holly – Holly Ladies Night Out event information and date info. The Holly DDA hosts this event twice a year. Once in the Fall and once in the Spring. Ladies enjoy sales, raffles, promotions, and more.
Ladies Night Out will take place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Hours are Friday from 5p-9p, Saturday from 10a-5p, and Sunday from 11a-5p. Hosted by www.mainstreetholly.com.
Several businesses and vendors will be participating in both Spring & Fall versions of this event.
