Detroit Zoo GreenFest – The Zoo-wide experience includes demonstrations by the Detroit Zoological Society’s Green Team, conservation education, citizen science projects and exhibits by local conservation groups. Oakland County Parks Pet Wellness Clinic – at Waterford Oaks. Oakland County Parks Pet Vaccinations clinics for dogs and cats are low-cost. Pets must either be leashed or brought in a carrier to the events. No appointments are needed to get your pet vaccinated, obtain preventative care, receive microchipping and/or purchase a dog license. Vaccinations, heartworm tests, flea prevention and dewormer are available. For pet safety, bring dogs on a short leash with a snug collar and cats in a carrier. There are no residency requirements

O.A.K. in the Hills at Spencer Park. Enjoy archery, camping, yoga, rock wall, kayaking, fishing, biking, hiking,

South Lyon Memorial Day Parade
South Lyon Memorial Day Parade – Organized by VFW Post 2502. The parade launches at 9a from Bartlett Elementary and makes its way down 10 Mile through downtown. The parade ends in the South Lyon Cemetery with a ceremony that commemorates the contributions and sacrifices of all veterans. Organized by South Lyon VFW Post 1224.

Cranbrook Art Museum Juneteenth Free Admission
Cranbrook Art Museum Juneteenth Free Admission – In celebration of the Juneteenth holiday, Cranbrook Art Museum gallery admission will be free for all. Though the upper galleries will be closed for an exhibition changeover, visit the lower level for the permanent exhibitions, “Constellations and Affinities: Selections from the Cranbrook Collection” and “Building Cranbrook: Saarinen in Michigan.” You can also stop by the FIKA Café for a snack and engage in artmaking activities for all ages in the lounge.
