Oakland County Moms Calendar of Metro Detroit Summer Events
Discovery at Dusk – wbparks.org Hit the trails for a sunset hike while searching for the animals most active during twilight. You might be lucky enough to spot fireflies. After the hike, bask in the glow of a campfire, roast s’mores and listen to some stories. This is a family program, all children and adults must register. $7 residents / $9 non-residents. Spencer Park Bass Tournament – The Park Bass Tournament is open to ALL AGES and SKILL LEVELS. All fishing is done from shore and there will be prizes for the most bass caught and also for the largest bass. Tournament participation is $5. Participants receive free park vehicle entry. Clawson Fall Festival – Clawson City Park. Celebrate the beginning of fall with an afternoon of fun! The day includes free hayrides, farm animals, inflatables, baked goods 4 sale, games and more. Lost Lake Sledding Hill MLK Day
Lost Lake Sledding Hill MLK Day – at Lost Lake Park. The BEST sled hill in Oakland County has their warming shelter open for some school’s out sledding! Make sure you call the sledding hotline at 248-651-4440 ext 299 before you head out to make sure the sled hill will be open! Review, Pics, Video.
