Cranberry Lake Park History of Maple Sugaring – at Cranberry Lake Park. Learn a little about how this treat was first discovered, the advancements in the technology that allowed us to harvest and produce enough for the world, and the science behind how this sticky confectionary is even possible. White Lake Winter Carnival – WLCL – at White Lake Inn (248-887-1818). Hosted by the White Lake Citizens League Winter Carnival. The annual winter festival has fireworks, a broomball tournament, kids activities, and more. More info…schedule of events.
Spencer Park Bass Tournament – The Park Bass Tournament is open to ALL AGES and SKILL LEVELS. All fishing is done from shore and there will be prizes for the most bass caught and also for the largest bass. Tournament participation is $5. Participants receive free park vehicle entry. Tollgate Farm Pumpkinfest at MSU Tollgate Farm. Take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to pick your perfect pumpkin. Many events FREE, some with small fees. Food, music, farm animals, educational exhibits, and children’s activities all make for a fun fall outing for all ages. $5 per person, 3 and under FREE. Lost Lake Sledding Hill MLK Day
Lost Lake Sledding Hill MLK Day – at Lost Lake Park. The BEST sled hill in Oakland County has their warming shelter open for some school’s out sledding! Make sure you call the sledding hotline at 248-651-4440 ext 299 before you head out to make sure the sled hill will be open! Review, Pics, Video.
