Oakland County Moms Calendar of Metro Detroit Summer Events
Spencer Park Bass Tournament – The Park Bass Tournament is open to ALL AGES and SKILL LEVELS. All fishing is done from shore and there will be prizes for the most bass caught and also for the largest bass. Tournament participation is $5. Participants receive free park vehicle entry. Tollgate Farm Pumpkinfest at MSU Tollgate Farm. Take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to pick your perfect pumpkin. Many events FREE, some with small fees. Food, music, farm animals, educational exhibits, and children’s activities all make for a fun fall outing for all ages. $5 per person, 3 and under FREE. Motown Museum Job Fair
Motown Museum Job Fair at the Motown Museum Hitsville. The museum has several positions to fill – now is your chance to learn about them and meet the Motown Museum team. You have the opportunity to land the perfect summer or permanent job – being surrounded by the inspirational space where so many greats like Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross and countless others got their story started. Positions available include roles in administration, retail, guest services, programming and education, and archive and collection management. All applicants are encouraged to bring a resume and apply on the Motown Museum website prior to attending the job fair. Applicants may apply onsite for open positions using their digital devices.
