Come downtown and watch the kids “unwrap” the storefronts. Local merchants will wrap their storefronts on Tuesday, get busy, and reveal their holiday best on Thursday night. Per Oakland Twp Parks and Rec: Oakland Township’s Winter Carnival on January 27 has been cancelled due to poor field conditions. The Bear Creek Nature Park field is currently waterlogged and slushy as a result of the warming weather, snow melt, and rain.
