Oakland County Moms Calendar of Metro Detroit Summer Events
St Lawrence Apple Fest – annual festival feature live entertainment, a large carnival midway hosted by TJ Schmidt Carnival, Bingo Hall, kids tent, giant beer and food tent featuring sit-down dinner options and desserts, and much more.
This festival is a fundraising effort for St Lawrence Catholic Church of Utica, Michigan and features numerous chances to win cash prizes. Games include raffles, charity game pull tabs, basket raffles, and more than $10,000 in raffle cash prizes.
Kids Building Michigan Touch A Truck – at Seymour Lake Park. Hands on fun. See exciting demonstrations, run heavy machinery, and climb on trucks at the Touch a Truck event. Wheels & Squeals Touch a Truck – FREE touch a truck event a Hawthorne Park. Parking on site is extremely limited. Take advantage of the free shuttle provided by Oakland County Parks. Pick up from Marimont Church on Walton Blvd. 424 W Walton Blvd, Pontiac, MI 48340. Shuttle run from 4:45p – 8p. This event is free and open to the public. Contact 248-858-0916 for more information. Highland Kris Kringle Market & Tree Lighting will have the Kris Kringle Market from 5p-9p and the tree lighting at 7p. Event will be held at Veteran’s Park (Livingston and John St). Annual tree-lighting ceremony features caroling, light refreshments, crafts, and a visit from Santa Claus. After Santa arrival, activities take place across the street at 205 W Livingston.
