FREE Science Center Traveling Science Kickoff Event at Michigan Science Center. The annual free event
takes place outside of Mi-Sci’s main entrance featuring live science demonstrations and hands-on activities. The first 250 people to arrive will receive free admission inside of Mi-Sci for a special day which includes Traveling Science activities. Registration required. Pre-register here. Stony Creek Metropark FREE Summer Concerts – Eastwood Beach becomes a concert venue. From rock to

Waterford Oaks Wave Pool Dog Swim
Waterford Oaks Wave Pool Dog Swim – at Waterford Oaks County Park. All dogs owners must show valid Michigan dog license and proof of current vaccinations at the time of the event. Dogs swim by weight category. Three swims: Noon-12:50p – 70lbs plus, 1p-1:50p – 31lbs-69lbs, 2p-2:50p – 30lbs and under. Pre-registration cost is $10/dog and includes admission, contest entry, a gift for owner, and one 50-minute swim session. On-site registration is $15/dog if availability allows. To register, call 248-858-0916. Phone registrations will be accepted until noon on September 4. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.
