Oakland County Moms Calendar of Metro Detroit Summer Events
Waterford Oaks Wave Pool Dog Swim – at Waterford Oaks County Park. All dogs owners must show valid Michigan dog license and proof of current vaccinations at the time of the event. Dogs swim by weight category. Three swims. Noon-12:50p – 70lbs plus, 1p-1:50p – 31lbs-69lbs, 2p-2:50p – 30lbs and under. Pre-registration cost is $10/dog and includes admission, contest entry and one 50-minute swim session. On-site registration is $15/dog if availability allows. To register, call 248-858-0916. Kids Building Michigan Touch A Truck – at Seymour Lake Park. Hands on fun. See exciting demonstrations, run heavy machinery, and climb on trucks at the Touch a Truck event. Wheels & Squeals Touch a Truck – FREE touch a truck event a Hawthorne Park. Parking on site is extremely limited. Take advantage of the free shuttle provided by Oakland County Parks. Pick up from Marimont Church on Walton Blvd. 424 W Walton Blvd, Pontiac, MI 48340. Shuttle run from 4:45p – 8p. This event is free and open to the public. Contact 248-858-0916 for more information.
