Sylvan Lake Easter Egg Hunt – To participate please donate a dozen plastic eggs and candy to Sylvan Lake City Hall by 4/6/23. There will be multiple hunts based on age groups. Get your child’s picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Hosted by Sylvan Lake Recreation.
Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade – 11a (lineup) / Parade at 11:30a at Sylvan Lake City Hall and Memorial Park.
The Parade will begin at 11:30a at City Hall and end at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony. Kids are welcome to decorate their bikes and participate in the parade. Veterans that wish to participate are asked to contact Jim Smith at 248-904-9085 to be recognized at Memorial Park ceremony.
Emagine National Cinema Day is for one day only! All Emagine Theatre locations will celebrate by making all ticket prices only $4.00! Guests will be able to enjoy seeing a variety of film options, including new releases, early 2023 releases, and a variety of specialty films, in all formats for only $4. Tickets are now on sale for August 27th shows.
Emagine will be offering special concession offers for all guests at each location.

Lions Game Viewing at Emagine
Lions Game Viewing at Emagine – Watch the Detroit Lions take on the LA Rams on the big screen at participating Emagine Theatres. Royal Oak, Novi, Canton, Saline, and Rochester Hills Emagine Theatres are giving fans the opportunity to watch the game on the BIG screen for FREE. Seating is limited and tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are free but can only be picked up at participating Emagine Theatre box office locations beginning at 5p on January 14. Group tickets are available for up to 8 guests, unless all guests in your party are present at the time of pickup. Each participating theatre location will be hosting giveaways during half-time. All attendees will be eligible to win. Participating Emagine Theaters will be offering game day concession specials.
UPDATE 1/10/24 – Per Emagine Theatre – ” Due to overwhelming high demand, tickets are now available at all participating box office locations for this Sunday’s game. Two new Emagine Theatre locations have also been added to the list of participating theatres showing the game. When available, Emagine plans to open additional auditoriums to accommodate the demand of fans. “
