Heritage Park Sweetheart Stroll
Heritage Park Sweetheart Stroll – Celebrate Valentines Day with a candle-lit hike through the trails of Heritage Park. Share your love of nature as you discover the courtship and mating behaviors of native animals. Complete the evening with a warm drink and sweet treats at the Nature Center. Ages 18+. Ferndale Daddy Daughter Dance – The dance serves as an opportunity for fathers, uncles and other paternal (and maternal) figures to show the little princesses in their lives how special they are. Red Oaks Nature Center Homeschool Series
Red Oaks Nature Center Homeschool Series (248-585-0100) A new homeschool theme each month.
Homeschool sessions are adapted for two age groups: Ages 6-9 and ages 10-13. Cost is $10/child/session. Preregistration with payment is required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or register online. No on-site registration will be available. Sessions are designed as a drop-off program for youth. All students are welcome. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.
Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza
Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza – Each hunt is FREE and will feature three parks, with areas for younger children. The schedule is as follows – 1p – Wilson Park (For Ages 1-4 Only); 1:30p – Geary Park; 2p – Martin Road Park.
At each site, children will have the opportunity to gather as many prize-filled eggs as they can. One egg in each section contains a special golden ticket that will grant its finder with a special Easter basket. Geary Park and Martin Road Park will each have an area dedicated to younger children (ages 1-4) and older children (ages 5-11). At Martin Road Park, children and parents will have the opportunity to meet and take pictures with the Easter Bunny. This is a FREE event, no pre-registration is required, but please consider donating to support Ferndale P&R programming. Hosted by Ferndale Parks & Recreation. Seymour Lake Park Easter Bunny Bonanza
Seymour Lake Park Easter Bunny Bonanza – Join the Oxford Township Parks and Recreation Staff in welcoming the Easter Bunny with an Easter Egg Hunt and Ping-Pong Ball Drop. The event will begin with a traditional Easter Egg Hunt followed by the Ping-Pong Ball Drop. The bunny chopper will fly over and shower the kids with thousands of white Ping-Pong Balls. Oxford High School Craft Show – Oxford HS will be having a spring craft show on Saturday, April 13. Over
