Royal Oak Memorial Day Parade – The parade will start at Main Street & Lincoln and will proceed north to Second Street The parade has been held on Memorial Day for several decades as a respectful tribute to our veterans – past and present. Oakland County Fair Fireworks at dusk at Springfield Oaks County Park. Oakland County Parks hosts fireworks at the Oakland County Fair following an 8p Figure 8 Race at the Fair’s grandstand. Kids Building Michigan Touch A Truck – at Seymour Lake Park. Hands on fun. See exciting demonstrations, run heavy machinery, and climb on trucks at the Touch a Truck event. Wheels & Squeals Touch a Truck – FREE touch a truck event a Hawthorne Park. Parking on site is extremely limited. Take advantage of the free shuttle provided by Oakland County Parks.
