Farmington Memorial Day Parade

Farmington Memorial Day Parade – at the Intersection of Grand River & Orchard Lake Road on Grand River Avenue, between Orchard Lake Road and downtown Farmington. The event ends with a ceremony at Memorial Park at Grand River Avenue & Oakland Street, followed by a free community luncheon hosted at the American Legion. The Parade Committee is looking for volunteers who would like to join the team and help organize and manage the event. Novi Memorial Day Parade – Novi Meadow Brook Commons (25075 Meadowbrook Rd).
Parade will begin at Novi Memorial Commons and end at the Novi Civic Center. Hosted by the City of Novi.

Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program

Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program – Red Oaks Nature Center  (248-585-0100). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy

nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. A different seasonal theme each month. Cost is $5/child. Preregistration with payment required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or 248-858-0100. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.

Farmington Summer Concerts

Farmington Summer Concerts at Riley Park – Riley Park in Farmington, Michigan will host free summer concerts on Friday nights at the Walter E Sundquist Pavilion as part of the Rhythmz in Riley Park concert series.

Also usually featured at Riley Park will be the Lunch Beats noon-time summer concert series every Wednesday this summer.

Concerts run every Friday from 7p-9p and feature pop music, folk, country, rock-a-billy and more. Chairs and blankets are recommended.

Village of Rochester Hills Music & Me Wednesdays

Village of Rochester Hills Music & Me Wednesdays at Festival Park. Children will be able to sing, dance, and

interact with each other during this fun morning performance. Bring a blanket and be prepared to be inspired by the musical talents of your children. This class is geared towards children birth to five years old. The program recognizes early childhood music for infants to kindergartners with adult involvement. These events are FREE event to attend. These events are hosted by Mrs Calissa from Sing Play Speak and by TheVofRH.
