Holly Oaks ORV Disability Dirt Day – Holly Oaks ORV Park (248-653-0710). Individuals with disabilities are

invited to experience off-roading at Holly Oaks ORV Park with rides provided by volunteers. This is a FREE event. Rides are provided for the participant, who must be at least 10 years old, and one guest. To register, scan the QR code on this page. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.

Night of the Dragon – A Metroparks medieval festival! Enjoy live entertainment, inflatable jousting, bounce house, crafts, food & drink for purchase, strolling performers, medieval costumes and contests, skywatching meteor showers, and more! This event is FREE to attend. No pre-registration required. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. You can purchase an annual pass HERE.

Wheels & Squeals Touch a Truck – FREE touch a truck event. Parking on site is extremely limited. Take advantage of the free shuttle provided by

Oakland County Parks. Pick up from Silver Lake Church of the Nazarene. 520 W Walton Blvd, Pontiac, MI 48340. Shuttle runs from 4:45p-8p. This event is free and open to the public. Contact 248-858-0916 for more information. Hosted by the City of Pontiac in conjunction with Oakland County Parks.

Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program

Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program – Red Oaks Nature Center  (248-585-0100). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy

nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. Your first stop is the Environmental Discovery Center where you will pick up your skeleton scavenger hunt map and form. Then head out on the nature trails to spot as many skeletons as you can. Remember to pay attention to what you see them doing. Bring your scavenger hunt form back to the Environmental Discovery Center to see if you won a prize. All Ages. FREE event. White Lake Halloween Trick or Treat on the Trail – at Indian Springs Metropark – (248-625-6640, metroparks.com)
Kids put your costumes on and bring your favorite adults along. Meet some friendly characters with activities and goodies for you to collect along the paved path, perfect for strollers and wagons. Also discover fun facts, riddles, spooky decorations and photo stops along the way. Be sure to bring a bag or bucket for your treats. Ages 2-6. $5 per person. No pre-registration required.
