nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. Stony Creek Nighttime Nature
Stony Creek Nighttime Nature at Stony Creek Metropark – Stony Creek Metropark – (586-781-4242,
metroparks.com). A short presentation from a naturalist followed by an evening out on a nature walk. Ages 8+. $5 per person. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 586-781-9113. Canterbury Village Tree Lighting
Canterbury Village Tree Lighting – This festive event is fun for the entire family, complete with entertainment and carolers. Shops throughout the quaint Village are open for holiday shopping, smores, hot cocoa, and hot cider stations are set up to enjoy near the outdoor firepits. Tree lighting at 6p.
