Clinton Twp Fireworks – at 6p (fireworks start at 10p). Preshow fun (fun for kids, live music) begins at 6p. Food vendors available on-site. Shuttle service and additional parking available at Erie Elementary, 9th Grade Center and St Paul of Tarsus Church. For people with loved ones interred at Resurrection Cemetery, the cemetery is extending hours on 7/4 & 7/5 to allow for visitors to share the 7/5 fireworks with their loved one. Wheels & Squeals Touch a Truck – FREE touch a truck event a Hawthorne Park. Parking on site is extremely limited. Take advantage of the free shuttle provided by Oakland County Parks. Pick up from Marimont Church on Walton Blvd. 424 W Walton Blvd, Pontiac, MI 48340. Shuttle run from 4:45p – 8p. This event is free and open to the public. Contact 248-858-0916 for more information. Bundle up and enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience. Around the Nature Center, a variety of winter songbirds will eagerly fly to your hand for seeds. Learn how to identify the birds you might feed, and how to properly feed songbirds in the park. Then take a short, guided walk along a mixed gravel path to meet your new feathered friends. Seed provided. Bring your camera. Lightly colored gloves or mittens are recommended for best results. This entire program is outdoors so dress warmly. All ages. $3 per child / $5 per adult / Under 2 FREE. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 810-227-8910.
