Ford House Holiday Tours 2019 – The Edsel and Eleanor Ford House (Ford House) historic estate celebrates the Christmas and Holiday Season with

specially themed tours and events. Many of these events sell out in advance. Please check for complete schedule.

Ford House Holiday Tours 2019

Holiday Belles House Tour
Noon-7:30p Wednesdays-Saturdays, and noon-4p Sundays from November 29 – January 5
“Learn how the house came alive during large receptions and parties held at the estate, from the decor to the music to the food and fun. You will also see inside the personal spaces where the family lived and played, and learn about their family winter traditions and hobbies.” Hurry, these events sell out quickly.

Tours are available noon to 7:30p Wednesday through Saturday and noon to 4p on Sundays. Tickets for evening tours can be purchased in advance. Daytime tickets are available onsite, first come, first served, no reservations. Tickets cost $12 for adults, $11 for seniors, $8 for children ages 6 to 12, free for children 5 and younger, and free for Ford House members. For more information, please visit or call 313-884-4222.

Cookies With Santa
December 1-17 from 4p-6p
“Listen in as your little ones share their Christmas wishes with the elf himself. Santa will make his annual stop in Josephine Ford’s Playhouse to visit with your children. You can snap your own family photos to cherish this holiday moment. Santa will send each child home with one of his favorite sweet treats”. Hurry, these events sell out quickly. Daytime tour tickets (through the 4:30 tour) are sold at the Visitor Center, first come, first served, no reservations.

In addition to holiday tours, tickets are available to experience a number of holiday events to make the season merry and bright. Reservations are required for special events and may be made at UPDATE 2018 – However, due to construction of new buildings at The Ford House, there are not as many of these holiday events that there have been held previously or will be held in the future.
