Farmington Hills FREE Summer Drop in Programs

Farmington Hills FREE Summer Drop in Programs – Heritage Park Farmington Hills free summer fun for kids of all ages at the Heritage Park Nature Center all summer long.

OAKLAND COUNTY MOMS HEALTH / FAMILY HEALTH ARTICLES

On Tuesdays throughout the summer of 2022, kids of all ages are invited to participate in FREE Nature Time with Heavner Canoe Program. This program is designed for all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult). Participants will meet in the Nature Center, then head outside for an adventure. Each week will focus on a different theme and may include a short hike, story time, hands-on activities, and/or exploring outdoors. No need to pre-register, just show up.

The program is sponsored and led by a guest instructor from Heavner Canoe & Kayak Rental, but please note that this program does NOT include kayaking or canoeing, just fun in nature.

Also, on Mondays is Splash Pad Story Time at the Farmington Splash Pad at Heritage Park. The event is for children ages three to six accompanied by an adult. Participants will meet on the new Discovery Trail near the Splash Pad for stories, rhymes, and movement. Then everyone is welcome to stay and play with outdoor toys, explore the Discovery Trail or head to the Splash Pad for some fun in the water.

Story Time by the Splash Pad is FREE. No pre-registration is necessary. Please visit the Farmington Community Library or call 248-848-4315 for more information about this program.

Hosted by the Farrmington Hills Special Services Department.
