Oakland County Moms Calendar of Metro Detroit Summer Events
Oh Deer, Santa’s Here at Heritage Park. Families will get a chance to visit and get photos with Santa outdoors at the historic Red Barn in Heritage Park. Bring your camera. Seasonal craft provided. The Nature Center will be open to visitors and a warm campfire will be going outside with hot cocoa. S’more kits will be available for additional purchase for $1 each. Please dress for winter weather. Each family will have limited time with Santa. Register yourself and bring up to 5 people of your choice (adults and children). Heritage Park Snowshoe Trek
Heritage Park Snowshoe Trek – Explore the woods on snowshoes. Lesson provided and an additional charge for snowshoe rental. Special discounted rental fee of $5/pair for program participants or bring your own snowshoes. If no snow, we will walk the trails. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy boots. All ages. $5. Heritage Park Sweetheart Stroll – Celebrate Valentines Day with a candle-lit hike through the trails of Heritage Park. Share your love of nature as you discover the courtship and mating behaviors of native animals. Complete the evening with a warm drink and sweet treats at the Nature Center. Ages 18+.
