Oakland Twp Summer Concerts – Oakland Twp Parks and Rec hosts free summer concerts on select Fridays this summer with the Music in the Meadows concert series.

Spencer Park Bass Tournament – The Park Bass Tournament is open to ALL AGES and SKILL LEVELS. All fishing is done from shore and there will be prizes for the most bass caught and also for the largest bass. Tournament participation is $5. Participants receive free park vehicle entry. Tollgate Farm Pumpkinfest at MSU Tollgate Farm. Take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to pick your perfect pumpkin. Many events FREE, some with small fees. Food, music, farm animals, educational exhibits, and children’s activities all make for a fun fall outing for all ages. $5 per person, 3 and under FREE. Oakland Twp Winter Carnival – at Bear Creek Nature Park. FREE Park & Shuttle At Rochester Christian Church (4435 Rochester Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48306, 248-652-3353). Activities include – live entertainment, crafts, a magic show, ice sculpture demonstration with photo ops, puppet show, archery target shooting, penguin bowling, snowball toss, snowball fight, ice skating (weather dependent), and more. More winter festivals
Per Oakland Twp Parks and Rec: Oakland Township’s Winter Carnival on January 27 has been cancelled due to poor field conditions. The Bear Creek Nature Park field is currently waterlogged and slushy as a result of the warming weather, snow melt, and rain.
Heritage Park Sweetheart Stroll
Heritage Park Sweetheart Stroll – Celebrate Valentines Day with a candle-lit hike through the trails of Heritage Park. Share your love of nature as you discover the courtship and mating behaviors of native animals. Complete the evening with a warm drink and sweet treats at the Nature Center. Ages 18+.
