RARA Pumpkin Roll – at Bloomer Park. Roll your old pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns down the big sled hill. Bring a wagon to haul your pumpkins to the sled hill. Targets will be setup at the bottom of the hill. If your pumpkin gets in the target or closest to the target, you will win a prize. Enjoy a bonfire and cider & donuts after the event. Rochester Hills MLK Day Snowfort & Campfire – Come dressed for the weather and ready towork and build an igloo-style snow fort. No snow? No problem. Create a fort made from other natural materials instead. Deconstruct the fort at the end and talk a bit about “leaving no trace”. A campfire and hot chocolate will also be provided. Bloomer Park Sap to Syrup Pancake Breakfast – (3 time slots available). Visit Bloomer Park and our Sugar Bush to see an old-fashioned sap-to-syrup boiling operation. We will be making syrup from trees tapped right here in Rochester Hills. Sample some real maple syrup and enjoy a pancake breakfast complete with sausage, juice and coffee.
