Sloan Museum Galentine’s Party – 810-237-3450, sloanlongway.org. Pamper and spoil yourself and your besties with shopping, karaoke and more. All four museum galleries will be open to event attendees until 8p. A cash bar and the Coffee Beanery Cafe will also be open for food and beverage purchases during the event. Blake’s Lyon Township Fall Kick-off Celebration – Free Funland admission from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (jumping pillows, John Deere Speedway, Amish play structures, Mr. Bones Outhouse, Hillbilly Wagon, and animal petting farm. Live music, food trucks, cider garden. $1 from every dozen donuts and u-pick apple bags will be donated to South Lyon based charity Active Faith
Bloomfield Twp Open House – Held in conjunction with Fire Prevention Week Activities. Fire department demonstrations, food trucks, touch-a-truck, DPS truck rides, police car rides, hot dogs & cookies, petting zoo, rock climbing wall, and more. This is a FREE event. Hosted by West Bloomfield Twp.

Heritage Park Sweetheart Stroll – Celebrate Valentines Day with a candle-lit hike through the trails of Heritage Park. Share your love of nature as you discover the courtship and mating behaviors of native animals. Complete the evening with a warm drink and sweet treats at the Nature Center. Ages 18+. Kensington Metropark Chickadee Chow Down – at Kensington Metropark (810-227-8910, metroparks.com)
Bundle up and enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience. Around the Nature Center, a variety of winter songbirds will eagerly fly to your hand for seeds. Learn how to identify the birds you might feed, and how to properly feed songbirds in the park. Then take a short, guided walk along a mixed gravel path to meet your new feathered friends. Seed provided. Bring your camera. Lightly colored gloves or mittens are recommended for best results. This entire program is outdoors so dress warmly. All ages. $3 per child / $5 per adult / Under 2 FREE. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 810-227-8910.
Paradise Park Easter Egg Hunt

filled with candy, tokens, and surprises. Paradise Park offers a lunch buffet after the egg hunt. Buffet is served from noon-1:15p and includes apps, pizza, breadsticks, salad, and unlimited beverages.
